Francis Bacon Reflection Question

When you looked at the picture, how did you interpret that artwork? Why?
Francis Bacon is a Irish-born British painter known for his bold and grotesque paintings. When I look at the picture he painted, i interpret this artwork very figurative and unique. I interpret like that because his picture is indeed very bold and grotesque but also very emotionally charged. Every people when they see a art have some reactions to the painting, most arts tend to make people say "wow" or "amazing" and this art proves it also, but it is so emotionally charged that those words wouldn't come out of the mouth, this art has its unique reaction that no one can follow.
What were the thoughts/emotions that came to your mind when you saw his artworks? (Happy? Sad? Miserable? Confusing?) Why did it make you think or feel that way?
When I saw his artworks, my mind went blank at first and was kind of disgusted by some of his works, i didn't really felt any emotions while seeing his painting. I only thought that was a very unique way of showing art and for some reason it it reminded of "The Screm" drawn by Edvard Munch (probably them having the same negative-and-dark vibe).
If you were Francis Bacon and had to represent the same theme, what would you draw?
If i were Francis Bacon, and i had to represent the same theme, i would try to show the problem of teenage suciding. Since in many countries, there are many teenagers dying out of depression, social expectations and bullying yet some schools and countries don't really see the huge problem. So by expressing those problems in a dark-and-negative painting like this, maybe people will think this problem seriously.
