Process

For the fashion design unit, we had to make our own fashion outfit, cut it out, and take a picture with a scenery or a pattern.

For the final design, i choose this outfit as the final design. I choose this design because, among all the designs i have drawn, the design was not very complicated or simple to cut out.

I was trying to find a good patteren for the outfit and then i saw my classmate's bag. The bag had a combination of yellow, orange and red (plus a little green). So i put my cut out design and let the yellow part to be the design of the coat and the green part to represent the legs. With this pattern it gives sort of a funky style.

I had a pink checkered pillow in my hose with a color gradation of dark pink, light pink and white, so i thought i should use the dark pink and light pink as the design color.

Also, with the color so clear, the pink can also be the color of the accessory so it can go with the coat.

In my home i had a storage box that had vine pattern on them. So by making the vines as the pattern of the outfit and the leg, it gives the outfit a classy look. ( i really like how the leg turned out).

Not far from school, there's a whole wall covered in wall flowers. I used the flowers as the coat design and the greenery the legs. By using the flowers as the coat design, it definetely makes the coat stands out, just like what i wanted.

The design of this outfit was from a rough wall. I made this as the outfit because for me it the rough looking texture of the wall looked very similar to a sheep fur coat. So as to simulate that, i choose the wall. Also it was two different color so I used the other color for the leg.
